I'm Sunelle Basson, a registered clinical psychologist practicing from a quiet setting in Tamboerskloof, Cape Town.

My training and work experience have included providing psychotherapy and assessments to infants, children, adolescents and adults in various clinical, cultural and socio-economic settings. I completed my HPCSA-accredited internship at Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital, where after I went on to complete my community service year at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. I also worked as a resident clinical psychologist at Tambo Memorial Hospital.

My interests in psychotherapy are broad and I enjoy working with a diversity of clients and psychological difficulties. I aim to provide a safe, thoughtful and non-judgemental space in which clients can feel comfortable to work through psychological difficulties and work towards more meaningful relationships with themselves and others. I find being a psychologist and forming therapeutic relationships with clients very rewarding.
